The Gospel Matters Most

We were created to know God and the be known by Him. This is why we exist. But here’s the reality, we are sinners separated from God and therefore, unable to live out the very reason for our existence. In our sin we have no hope for peace in this life and to be with God in the next.

That’s the bad news, but here is the good news! God provided a way for us to be forgiven of sin and reconciled to Himself. Out of His love for us He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, for us.

Jesus Died for you!

Jesus came and lived a perfect, sinless life and died on the cross. In death, Jesus bore the penalty for sin as a substitution for us. In victory, Jesus rose from the dead three days later! And today, through trusting in Jesus Christ and repenting of sin, the gift of forgiveness and salvation can become a reality for you.

How to Know Jesus

Admit Your Need

You must understand that you are a sinner by nature and by choice. The Bible says, “All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” (Rom. 3:23).

Abandon Self Effort

You must understand that you cannot save yourself by your efforts. The Bible is very clear that it’s “not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy He saved us.” (Titus 3:5)

Acknowledge Christ's Payment

You must believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died for your sins. The Bible says, “God showed His own love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Rom.5:8)

Accept Jesus as Savior

You must put your faith in Jesus Christ and Him alone for your salvation. The Bible says, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved.” (Acts 16:31)
