At First Baptist Savannah, we are committed to the discipleship of our children of all ages.  Through engaging Bible study, joyful worship, dedicated prayer, and intentional fellowship our goal is to come alongside families to help our children develop into fruitful Christian maturity.

Kids Ministry Schedule

Sunday School (9:15AM-10:15AM)

In Sunday School, our children are currently utilizing the Gospel Project curriculum to engage in scripture and continue to develop a more thorough understanding of the way that the Bible speaks of God's plan and Jesus' power from beginning to end.  Our

Wee Worshippers all meet together during the Sunday School hour, and our Kingdom Kids are separated into 1st-2nd grade and 3rd-5th grade.

Sunday Morning Service (10:30am)

During Sunday worship service, our children are utilizing the Bible Studies for Life curriculum.  While children are always welcome to stay in service with their family, we offer this Kingdom Kids class for 1st - 5th grade children to provide an environment where they can ask questions and discuss as they engage in scripture together.  Kids begin service together with families, and dismiss to class during the fellowship welcome time.

Wednesday Evening (6:30pm)

Our Wednesday evening curriculum is centered on learning and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and is deliberately focusing our children on the importance of worship, Bible study, prayer, and fellowship. This is also a time where our children learn to engage in ministry in a variety of ways including thank you cards, operation Christmas child boxes, letters to troops, serving in local community ministries such as the local food pantry.

Nursery - Provided at All Services

We have dedicated staff and volunteers who love spending time with our youngest children in our nursery. We provide nursery care for children from 6 weeks to 3 years old. Three year olds are able to move up to our Wee Worshippers when they are fully potty trained. Our nursery is downstairs, on the ground floor of the church by the fellowship hall and church office.
