Our desire as a staff is to have ministries shaped by love. 

Jesus provides the words that guide us to serve First Baptist Church with love for God and for others. 


Matthew 22:37

"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.”

  • Dr. Andrew Bosak

    Pastor

    Pastor Andrew has been at FBC Savannah since February of 2019. Andrew has been married to his wife, Doozie since June 2010 and they have 4 children. Pastor Andrew loves his family, preaching, and fishing (in that order). Andrew received his Master of Divinity degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and his Ph.D from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

  • Rev. Braylen Lashley

    associate pastor of Worship and Students

    Rev. Braylen has been on staff since July 2022. Braylen has been married to his wife, Rebekah since June 2018 and they have two sons (Jordy and Callahan). Braylen loves spending time with his family, watching and playing sports, lifting weights, reading, and listening/ learning music. Braylen received his Bachelors degree  in Worship Leadership with a specialization in Church Music from the University of Mobile, and is currently pursuing a Masters of Theological Studies from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. 

  • Jim Burton

    Church Administrator

    Jim has been serving as the church administrator at First Baptist since 1972.

    His interests include sports, particularly baseball, he always keeps his family first and loves spending time with friends. 

    Jim's favorite verse in Scripture is Jeremiah 29:11.

  • Regan Welch

    Executive Assistant

    Regan has been serving at FBC since 2018. 

    She enjoys book, movies, and adventures with the kiddos.

    Regan's favorite Bible verse is Luke 12:25.
