4. Governing Power

-Christ's power is not excluded from His body, the church. 

-He dictates everything we do. No tradition, by-law, or word of man supercedes the governing power of Christ. When a church fails to dictate themselves according to the word of God alone, they bring shame to the name that they are supposedly bound to. 

-We exist solely fo the glory of God. We are but jars of clay holding our treasure, Christ.

Conclusion

Unbeliever: Recognize the crushing weight of God's wrath for your sin like the bottom of the ocean floor. See the mushroom cloud of God's holiness looming large against you. But God, rich in mercy, love and kindness, extends forgivness, parson, and life to you in Christ Jesus. Confess your sin. Cry out to a holy God that you have committed cosmic treason against Him. Throw yourself upon the cross of Christ and receive Him. Love Him. Serve Him. Follow Him. 

Believer: Be reminded of your glorious position and spiritual blessedness in Christ. Your response is wrapped up in Colossians 3:1-4. Experience Him. Pray the prayer of Ephesians 1 for yourself and others. Be desparate before God. Plead with Him to show His glory. The glorious reality is that He will answer that prayer for His people.
